Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Pink Ribbon- Breast Cancer Awareness Question.?

Pink Ribbon- Breast Cancer Awareness question.? - breast cancer awareness ribbon

Firstly, I do not mean to say that breast cancer is believed no guarantee of many years of research, but none that breast cancer pigs Focus?

There are other diseases and cancers, receives almost no attention. No attention means that means no funds for research, and that there is less opportunity for people with other cancers (eg pancreas, kidney, liver) who hope for a cure.

You see not only a tour of the kidney, lung, liver, pancreas, uterus, bladder or skin cancer. It is a bit annoying to know that these diseases can be used as bad, if not more than deadly (pancreas), breast cancer, but receive little or no attention.

In addition, there are many diseases that people do not even know, do not receive attention, which means they have no one to donate to this cause, and that means that the researchers did not necessarily have the resources to find a cure or even treatments for some diseases (such as muscular dystrophy, autoimmune diseases, heart diseases, respiratory diseases, ECt)

Do you think that things like breast cancer awareness months, all of these "pink" Accessories, and all of its sponsors to bring to money and attention from other cancers and diseases?

No, you do not remove the cancer and other diseases. The Susan G. Komen simply the nail on the head about how to get there and reach fundraising for a broad audience. This organization, scope, and fundraising. Breast Cancer Awareness has never been a problem so overwhelming that reinforced foundation, committed to the attention of preserving the breast cancer needs.

I agree with you, however, that other types of cancer have received the same attention. There are many who do not. I understand your frustration. I work very closely with the foundation work for cancer awareness among children. We are very excited about the lack of gold bands disappointed in September (the month of awareness of cancer in children). We have fought for the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of States in 2008 the law in motion. We hope to see further increase in the coming September and make more per month, stories.

My suggestion to you is when you combine the strong support of these causes, forces with a foundation. Discard fundraising raISE money. Organize a tour of his city. Organize a bake sale. Together, a flea market area. Explain to prevent disease, like other ... or the devastating rates of cure, treatment, etc.

It only takes one person ....

Good luck.
